Eid al-Adha falls on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah. While the ritual of sacrifice is widely recognised, the deeper meaning is reflected in the Qur’an:

“It is not their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah; it is your piety that reaches Him.” (Surah Al-Hajj 22:37)

It reminds us that intention is what matters most. Outward acts are secondary to what lies in the heart. In a busy world, this can be easily forgotten. The essence of Eid is a reminder to align actions with sincerity, whether in charity, ritual, or daily life.
