The Annual Pilgrimage begins.

At times, one cannot help but wonder about the immense tragedy and sacrifice that our dear Imam Al-Hussein (AS) endured—so profound that his stance not only transcended time, but also penetrated the spiritual realm.

This understanding stirs within the soul a deep yearning for the Imam and a profound sense of loss. Today, Imam Al-Hussein (AS) has moved not only your heart, but the hearts of millions around the world. And to witness this reality, one need only search the word “Arbaeen.” Wherever you look, you will find people from all walks of life, flocking towards Karbala with love, grief, and purpose. This phenomenon is a living testament to the hadith:

holy prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
Surely , there exists in the hearts of the believers, with respect to the martyrdom of Hussain, a heat that never subsides.”
Mustadrak-al-wasa’il, V.10 , p. 318.

Reflecting on Ashura, which was not long ago, one is compelled to ask: what have I learned that can help me move from knowledge to action? What lessons can I carry into my daily life—lessons that bring me closer to Allah (SWT) through my servitude to Imam Al-Hussein (AS)?

It’s a feeling many share—a stirring within the heart that asks: what will pull me from the monotony of everyday life and inspire me to do even one act that may benefit me in the Hereafter?

Imam Ja’far As-Sadiq (as) said:
“If one of our Shia goes for Imam Husain’s (as) Ziarat, then he will not return but all his sins will be forgiven. For every step that he or his mount takes, 1,000 virtues are written for him, 1,000 sins are forgiven and his status is elevated by a 1,000 degrees”.
(Biharul Anwar, Vol 101, pg 25, Tradition 26)

The simple answer is spreading the message, in your own way, with sincerity. if you are visiting the imam, great but if not how can you spread the message where you are right now.

You needn’t look further as this channel is the result of many sincere efforts who strive to do just that. But it doesn’t stop there. This channel is not the termination of the many great deeds. you too can extend the efforts of those who came before you.
