CELEBRATION

The 11th of Dhul Qa’ada marks one of the most spiritually enlightening days in the Islamic calendar as it is the day which marks the birth of our 8th Holy Imam Ali Al Ridha, the sovereign of Mashhad. An evening in which we remind ourselves to attain proximity to Allah (swt), especially by reminding ourselves of the Hadith Silsilat al-Dhahab, also called the golden chain haith, in which Imam Ridha (as) stated ‘The kalima (Laa ilaaha illallah) is My fortress, whoever says it enters My fortress, and whoever enters My fortress shall be safe from My punishment’.

CHILDREN'S CRECHE:

 There is something for everyone this evening! We have opened up a children’s creche so that they too can enjoy the night. Parents of young children, we understand how difficult it can be to take some time for yourself so, we have enlisted the help of our incredible volunteers to take some of the pressure off so that you can relax and not worry. We have a set children’s menu and have a selection of fun activities planned for them to enjoy! 

AWARDS

Our awards ceremony commends the efforts of both staff and the unsung heroes of the Shia community. We honour both the young and driven, influential figures in our community as well as those who are no longer with us today. Our awards recognise the hard work and dedication that both our team and the extended Shia community put into spreading the message of the Ahlulbayt (A.S.) and it is our honour to call them our beloved brothers and sisters.
